Combining divination, sewing, pattern drafting and my family history
Hi, and welcome to The Auld Spaewife. I'm Lisa and I hand make all the items in this shop at home in Scotland.
The Auld Spaewife is an online shop filled with accessories to bring magic and a little something special into your divination or spiritual practices.
When I picked up my first angel deck several years ago, I didn't realise just how close to home this was. Both of my great grannies and some of my great aunties on both sides of my family were readers of tea leaves, and because of this, they were known as spaewives - the Scottish name for a fortune teller. And so The Auld Spaewife was born.
This shop combines three of my great loves - divination, pattern drafting and sewing. In fact, as well as running the shop, I'm also at university completing a degree in Fashion Technology.
